Silver leafing the David bust that Anna & Mikey gifted to us a few years back. They brought it on the plane as carry-on luggage, then hid it away in our cabinet before they left. SURPRISE.

Had an awesome sleepover in Ojai with Elisa and Marsais. It's such a perfect getaway between her house and mine. It was great to take a mid-week vacation with my gal pal, have some good eats, cruise the streets on our bikes and just relax.

We also got to see Huw when we were in San Fran. It was great to see him and celebrate his birthday! He's just a spring chicken. He took us to an awesome dinner in the city followed by a Morcheeba show at the Warfield (a perfect venue to see morcheeba). Thanks Huw! You're the best.

TARA!

Tagged along with Javier to a chemistry conference in San Fran a few weekends back. I got to see my good pal Tara for the first time in ages. We went to Oregon State together and used to make it mandatory to make a trip to see each other at least once a year (along with my old roommate DV). Well, I think the last time I saw her was over 4 years ago. It was great to meet the kiddos, Noah and Eric and catch up with Tara. I got to get the skinny on her life in San Fran, got to go to sneaker hockey and got my month's supply of Clif bars (she is the dietician at Clif). Clif is even making wine now.
